Zayid Majid is a multi-disciplinary, contemporary artist based in Emmitsburg, Maryland. His works encompass various styles and mediums that illustrate personal, intimate experiences and cultural heritage memories, while illuminating and exploring the human condition, perception, identity, and memory. Zayid’s art is alluring and marries vivid, bold colors with texture and distinguished character.

Zayid has illustrated numerous books including, Binya, Comya and I Create. He is an alumnus of the Atlanta College of Art and the Art Institute Atlanta and his work is widely collected throughout the United States and abroad.
